MANDARIN ORANGE CAKE WITH TOPPING, #2
1 yellow cake mix (plain)
1/2 c. oil
2 eggs
11 oz. can mandarin oranges with juice
1 sm. pkg. instant vanilla pudding
20 oz. can crushed pineapple with juice
2 c. Cool Whip
Mix cake mix, oil, eggs and mandarin oranges with juice. Place in 9x13 pan and
bake according to directions on cake mix box. Cool. Mix small package of instant
pudding with crushed pineapple and juice. Fold in 1 cup of the Cool Whip. Spread
on top of cake. Spread remaining Cool Whip over the layers. Keep refrigerated.  
Enjoy.

MANDARIN ORANGE CAKE
1 Duncan Hines golden cake mix
1 c. oil
4 eggs
1 lg. can Mandarin oranges, with juice
1 lg. pkg. instant vanilla pudding
1 lg. Cool Whip
1 lg. can crushed pineapple with juice
Mix cake mix, oil, eggs and mandarin oranges with juice together; do not use 
mixer.
Bake in greased 9 x 13 inch pan according to cake directions on box. Mix 
remaining
ingredients together for icing. Frost cake when cool. Refrigerate cake. A 
wonderfully
easy cake that is a delight in the summer.  Enjoy.

  MANDARIN ORANGE CAKE   

  1 (18.25 oz.) yellow cake mix (not super moist or pudding added)
  3 eggs
  3/4 c. oil
  1 (15 oz.) mandarin oranges  juice

  TOPPING:

  1 (20 oz.) crushed pineapple  juice
  1 (3.4 oz.) vanilla instant pudding mix
  1 tsp. vanilla
  1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip

  Mix dry cake mix, eggs, oil and oranges. Bake in 9 x 13 inch baking dish 
at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Mix pudding, pineapple and vanilla 
together. Fold in Cool Whip and spread on cooled cake.

Does anyone have the recipe for the mandarin orange cake?  I have lost the one 
I had.

Mandarin Orange Cake

1 pkg Butter cake mix
1/2 c  Oil
3Eggs
1 cn Mandarin Orange slices -
-- with juice --
FILLING:
1 md Cool Whip
1 lg Pkg instant vanilla pudding
1 lg Can crushed pineapple -
-- with juice --

Mix together cake mix, oil, eggs, and Mandarin Oranges and juice.  Make
3
layers.  Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes.  Filling:  Beat filling by
hand and spread between layers, top and sides of cake.  Keep
refrigerated.

Enjoy.

Hi Marilyn, and Everyone else,

Here are three mandarin orange cake recipes with slight variations. I
have separated them using ***'s. HTH

Sherri

Cool and Fruity Cake

1 pkg. Duncan Heinz Yellow Butter Cake Mix
4 eggs
1/4 c. Crisco
1 11-oz. can mandarin oranges with liquid

Combine all ingredients. Beat for 3 minutes. Bake at dg350 30-35 
minutes.

Icing:

1 20-oz. can crushed pineapple
1 5-1/2-oz. box vanilla instant pudding
9 oz. container Cool Whip

Combine and beat until smooth. Spread over cooled cake.




Mandarin Orange Cake

1 18.25-oz. pkg. yellow cake mix
4 eggs
1 c. vegetable oil
1 11-oz. can mandarin orange segments
1 8-oz. container frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 20-oz. can crushed pineapple with juice
1 3.5-oz. package instant vanilla pudding mix

Preheat oven to dg350. Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.

In large bowl, combine cake mix, eggs, oil and mandarin oranges with
juice. Beat until smooth. Pour batter into prepared pan.

Bake in preheated oven 35 to 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted
into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool.

Topping: In large bowl, beat together whipped topping, pineapple with
juice and dry pudding mix until blended. Spread on cake.

Mandarin Orange Cake

1 pkg. yellow cake mix
4 eggs
1/2 c. oil
1/2 c. shredded coconut
1 can mandarin oranges (don't drain)

Frosting:
8-oz. container Cool Whip
1 small package instant vanilla pudding (dry, don't add milk)
1 small can crushed pineapple, with juice

Mix all ingredients including liquid from oranges with an electric
beater. Bake in greased 9-by-13-inch pan at 350° for 35 minutes. Cool.

Meanwhile, gently fold frosting ingredients together with spatula.
Frost cooled cake. Store in refrigerator.

Mandarin Orange Cake
 
2 c. self-rising flour
1 3/4 c. granulated sugar
2 cans (15 oz.) each mandarin oranges, drained
2 eggs
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
3 Tbsp. butter
3 Tbsp. milk
 
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.  Lightly grease 13X9X2 inch baking
pan.  In large mixing bowl, beat flour, sugar, oranges, and eggs with
electric mixer on medium speed until well combined.  Spread mixture
evenly into prepared pan.  Bake about 30 minuts or until wooden
toothpick inserted near center comes out clean.  Meanwhile, in small
saucepan heat and stir brown sugar, butter, and milk over medium heat
until mixture boils.  When cake is done, drizzle brown sugar mixture
evenly over cake.  Cool at least 30 minutes before serving.  Makes
16 servings.
