were both built by Ajin in 1985 and 1986 respectively. The OMI USRA Pacific

Kadee #5 couplers from my (very) early days. A couple of the #5's have broken
on heavy trains, but so few I would never consider replacing them 'en masse'.

Just wanted to pass along the latest news on River Raisin's SP 2-8-2 (six
versions) and 2-10-2 (three versions) steam locomotive project. The builder
recently sent a photo package on the finished production models. Unfortunately
Dan discovered some minor corrections that needed to be made,
I posted some photos of an AM obs with Evergreen styrene simulated corrugated
sides and a JC Models (Chester to some) coach modified as a Rock Island chair
car. Both were built 20 years ago so are badly in need a of a major shopping!

want a correct roof contour, use the old JC Models kits for a core kit. The
roof is wood but correctly contoured for P-S cars. I've successfully covered
those roofs with 0.005 styrene to simulate a better metal roof
