OK -- there's your problem. *Fast* mode isn't necessary, and may be
contradictory to making a good brew. Leave your Colloid Master set on
standard. You don't have to figure out how to change the polarity of the
electrodes -- the machine does that automatically. And no -- I could not scrub
Sure. There's no grocery store chain with their own food manufacturing
plants. Our local chain has their own store brand of just about half the
major brands in their store--they have 'fritos', bleach, soaps, canned goods
meats, etc. They just pay another company to package for them, in the
Interestingly Consumer Reports this month did a comparison of Major VS
store brands.

MA, I was going to wait till after 72 hours is up (right about now) to test for
ppm level. Isn't there a 36 to 72 hour stabilization period ??? ... still
trying to get all this straight in my mind. I might have to do like Paula,
and get the Silver Puppy that's designed to make larger batches
I live in a small town. When Super Walmart Center came to town they put all
the small mom pop places out of business. So now WM is our only choice --
except for Dollar General ... and interestingly enough, Dollar General has
opened 3 NEW stores around the outskirts of town, in the last year
Hi Jan. There's really no reason to wait 72 hours to test your ppm-level. The
testers aren't terribly accurate, and you should know what ppm-level you have
right after brewing anyway. Your ppm-level is likely only going drop a couple
of points, at the #3 setting on your generator. I think
O ky ! :))
Thankx, MaryAnn !

And even more interesting is that my husband told me the other day that he
read where WM is out of sorts because so many people ARE shopping at the
dollar stores, and they figure they are loosing so much money to the dollar
stores from what use to be spent in their stores, so they are going to
Oh good grief oh dear me ... that is terrible news ';-{
(Im certified to talk I worked at WM for 7 years ... and I know more about
the Walmart Way than I ever wanted to know )
And even more

My son worked at a local bottling plant which bottled water for the local
retailers including China Mart. All the water for ever container came from the
same source.
