Re: 4Seven Tutorial LK Lightning 2.0 Sneak Peek

2013-02-09 Thread Rob Wuijster

Hi Leonard,

Very cool! :-)
Can't wait to play with version 2.

One suggestion, as most Softimage videos and groups 'live' on Vimeo,
maybe consider creating an account there as well?
That way it's easily linked to one of the existing tutorial groups on
Vimeo ;-)

Have a look at the last two methods.

So yes, geometry should work as well.

 Happy coding!

I don't mind writting C++, but I like to prototype in JScript... I would
 have check that,
Do you think that would work if one of the input is a

Rob, thanks for the suggestion. I put it up on vimeo:

I'm glad that this found you Olivier.
And yes, LK Skinner is basically a sophisticated cage/hull deformer.
It has the ability to use multiple objects at once, to weight the skinning
by weight maps and ice attributes, to sample a greater area of the skinned
to mesh, and to be combined with multiple instances of itself, to skin
different parts of the object to different other objects.

Thanks for the kind words. If from what you see in the video you have any
further suggestions, let me know.
