I've just completed my first 30 L of transesterified WVO. (Not yet
washed) It's golden brown, feels like petrodiesel and looks very
consistent. I wonder if there is any simple test I can execute at

pumping the water / bio back into the top of the vessel via a
domestic shower head. Has anyone tried this?

8,000 km with no problems. I've just bought a Mercedes (W123) 200D and it's
on the first tank of 50/50. I mixed a sample of 50/50 a while ago and let it

I've just acquired a Mercedes 123 / 200 D and am running it on a 50/50 WVO
/ diesel blend. I just saw at the vegburner site that the WVO can be mixed
with petrol. I suppose that petrol must be a better thinner than diesel and
wonder if anyone has experience with a petrol / WVO blend.

If you remove your meth via vacuum, all it is to it is VERY MILD
soap-water. You produce a more lethal thing when showering or taking
a bath.

Does anyone know how much methanol is recoverable in total, assuming
that 25% meth is used (by vol of wvo). It would also be interesting
to find descriptions of methods of extraction from both the glycerine
and the wash water.

I'm looking into the possibility of applying concentrated solar energy
for Glycerine distillation and it would be useful to know figures
on energy requirement. I don't know exactly what the parameters are
but I imagine something like the amount of energy required to raise
