OK. Deduced it myself from the PHP sample.
Args is a nested array variable. Each internal array (=individual search
criteria) consists of 3 string values (field, operator, value).
Ids - a simple array that outputs Object IDs based on the search.

I just installed the last version of jasper reports with my 5.0.6 version and
all seems to work great !!
I stil have a last problem. When I try to print a report, a get the following

Publicus will be hosting a week of OpenERP technical training in London from
Monday 2nd of November to Friday 6th November, 2009.

Trying to find a solution for printing cyrillic characters trough the pdf
preview. All i get is black boxes on the place of the characters.
Running the server on a Ubuntu 9.04 and the clients are mixed - a couple of
Ubuntu, Windows XP and Windows Vista.
So far tried the localization settings
If i try to mount openerp via ftp as a drive (in windows with webdrive, and in
linux via curlftpfs) i use the calendar ics files because they always have 0
byte?!?
If i download the meetings.ics file via Firefox or IE everything is ok but if i
try to open it via ftp the file is just empty?!?
Ok, created my first report (using the demo one). Everything works !

It's clear that possible to develop custom module, which adds "shift" object,
"shift_id" field in production_order, and so on.
Another way is to declare shifts as analytic accounts, and associate the

@kalamiro,
the easiest way is to activate your GTK logs starting the client with -l
debug_rpc or alternatively -l debur_rpc_answer. Then look what are the
webservices called for each client action you do. Finger in the noise XML/RPC...

Can you see several records?
we are fighting with Jasper for weeks now but without sucess.
In JasperPartners example, when we select several records, we only see one
record.

We are not at this point for the while, but there's an articel from albertca
talking about subreports, it seems that you have to use the OPENERP_RELATION
parameter. The article is at :

OPENERP_RELATION parameter doesn't help in case if you want select multiple
records at once and want to print reports for them. Try to select multiple
partners at once with Jasper Partner Demo report, you will see about what I am

So - i have bazaar and have pulled all the addons from all the repositories.
Couldnt't find it there, but found the base_report_unicode in the openerp site.
Downloaded it and installed it trought the zip import. It went ok. But when I
tried to print a report with cyrillic characters the problem
