I uploaded the syslog file, but there is no /var/log/partman file.
I booted from the hardy live cd, picked the install option from the menu, and
then it never gave me the gui for the install and instead just booted me into
the live hardy system. There was a crash report option, and I did my

I'm afraid we cannot further investigate this bug without log files from
the installer. Can you please run the installer again and attach
/var/log/syslog and /var/log/partman to the bug report, following the
