When I click on the console tab using VMware 2, it ask me to install a
plugin; I install the plugin, then firefox ask me to reload; I hit the
reload key. When firefox reloads; I go to the console tab again on

I can confirm this behaviour as well with Thinkpad T43. Worked like a charm
with Intrepid, and is broken since upgrade to Jaunty. I tried

I had to download the newer driver from HP and install it via the terminal.

In Ubuntu 8.10 I haven't problems with the 3D aceleration, but since I upgrade
tu Jaunty my PC usually lockup and it don't answer when I press the keys (for
example I cant access ttyN with ctrl+alt+N), however I can continue

I'm on Jaunty, and I'm getting the same result. dvd-slideshow creates a
VOB file. If I open Brasero, click new video project, and drag that VOB
in, I get the same results as above. Burn is greyed out.

After I disabled wireless network, through the Lenovo hardware switch

I've got Kubuntu too, and I found how to desactivate the Pidgin update
(I found a way to update on Kubuntu with an other update manager but I
can't remember it's name). And all operated now.

regularly use a Debian unstable/sid with a 2.6.29 vanilla kernel
