The same thing is happening for me too (Ubuntu 11.04, release, ATI Technologies
Inc Cedar PRO [Radeon HD 5450], radeon module (not fglrx, this is happening on

Annoying but could be fixed by booting on usb-stick, mounting the system

Natty: GUI occasionally does not register mouse
I have the same problem, except that I couldn't make it work by retrying. It
opens correctly in Totem, though.
You can reproduce it by opening the file groovesalad.pls automatically
downloaded by going there: http://somafm.com/play/groovesalad.

I tried Ubuntu 11.04 amd64 on my Vostro 3700 and the problem still
persists, also you cannot uninstall pm-utils to put on pm-utils 1.3,
because that will also remove gdm and many other pakages. I have not
found a workaround yet, installing laptop-mode-tools does not fix the
problem, and neither

i, using ubuntu 11.04 with latest updates, but didn't install any patch.
my clickpad works with following settings:

Unity froze after dragging a link from browser over
@Torsten Bronger, @Robert Drozda: I have the same issue with Unity and
the proprietary nvidia driver when set to separate X screen (Xinerama
disabled).
No resolution problems. The 'screen locked' screen sometimes appears on
the secondary monitor and works without fault. However there is no

Interestingly, gnome-screenshot doesn't see the display that doesn't
refresh properly. Whereas before the screenshot would be super-wide and
cover both displays, now it's regular 4:3 and covers only the display
that refreshes properly. Maybe that somehow is helpful to those that
know the code?
