Same issue here too. Mint 12 64bit crashes my Buffalo router running
dd-wrt. Other n device (cell phone) and when this laptop is booted to
windows does NOT crash the router. This is just a 'me too' post but let

I upgraded and did get another prompt for a bug report but I

It was a clean Ubuntu 10.04.4 install, on which I didn't customize anything.
When I upgraded to 12.04 I just went with whatever was selected by default.

I'm experiencing this problem with unity 4.28.0-0ubuntu2. Nothing has
changed.
Looks like this bug report is only for unity-2d and it's not getting
enough attention for unity (3d). Should I open a new bug report?

The patch isn't sufficient to close this bug - it only fixes Marcin's
first point. I assume that's why this bug is still in the ARM porting
queue.

I am also having the problem on hp touchsmart with ubuntu 11.10
(3.0.0-12-generic). (But you can perform a right click if you press left and
right click at the same time this is strange.
Would be nice if it was fixed.

One more thing, this happens when gnome-console is full screen. When the
gnome-console is windowed, gvim appears fine. My system is kept upto
date and I check for the bug again before posting, so yes the bug is
still there as of this comment.

I use landscape too, and have te same problem, this solve my problem:
$ dpkg --force-depends -P gcc-4.6-base:i386
$ dpkg --force-depends -P gcc-4.6-base:amd64
$ apt-get install -f

As Robert said, my preliminary sketch uses Software Updates as the
name for a System Settings panel. To match, I propose that in USC Edit
Software Sources… should change to Edit Settings…, and
Settings Repositories in Synaptic should change to Settings
Software Updates…. The equivalent

Attached a patch that splits cryptsetup into cryptsetup crypsetup-bin.
With the -bin package only containing cryptsetup itself and no startup scripts
or initramfs hooks.
