Right. I don't think that teaching qemu-debootstrap about all the
possible debootstrap args makes sense at all.
That is why I think patching pbuilder so it doesn't pass
confusing input to qemu-debuilder is a better solution.

I just had it stop working again. It seems like the best way to
reproduce is to boot into Windows first, then reboot back into Linux.
The sound will then stop working in a few minutes.
There aren't any messages being outputted to the logs and there's a

I also have a SSD. So has my other laptop which has also a nVidia chip but uses
a Core2Duo instead of a Core i7 and works perfectly fine.
Looks like a problem with the combination of a SSD with the nVidia driver and
the Core i7.

Hi SteveK, the situation appears to be that the DVDREAD_VERSION is set
to the version that libdvdread is a fork of, so it's more of an API
compatibility flag than an indication of the actual program version

This is really weird. kcm_touchpad 0.3.1 seems to have an Smart Mode option
that allows the user to choose whether or not to disable the touchpad while
typing. At least this is what the screenshots are showing:

I have updated the BIOS to the latest version(82ET60WW).But the WiFi hotkey
remains dysfunctional.The Scancode is 5 too.

always thought it was randomly happening! only facing the problem in
maverick though. 2 installs on separate computers and both face the same
problem. affects both externally connected and normal k/b and mouse.

FWIW, I ran a 'do-release-upgrade -d' on the system to 10.10 (which
completed without issues)
The ACPI errors do not show up any more, however suspend/resume is still
a 'no go' (it used to work fine under 8.04)
