Ok - thanks - I was able to reproduce this in a raring VM with 4 cores.
I thought this might be a tiny race window between us blocking signals
and creating the signalfd, so I reversed those (a patch which I may yet
send upstream) - but that didn't solve the issue.

1. Restore BIOS to default settings, make sure it will not boot in Legacy mode

12,10 and 13.04 are meant to be exprimental releases right? So now that
it works in Saucy daily again, it's fine. Close it.

Same problem here with a cheap ebay wireless mouse, which was working
absolutely fine until I installed 13.04 fresh (was previously working on
13.04 after upgrading from 12.10).
