I experienced similar on my desktop yesterday. No sound when BT speaker
selected. Although I didn't unplug the power from the desktop :)
I think I need to ignore that though because the BT dongle on my desktop
is super-cheap and buggy compared to laptops. It has kernel issues that

up by anything. This is not a real problem, also it will "fix itself"

I couldn't get any of the mainline kernels to recognize my touchscreen
or touchpad. I checked between 4.4 and 4.13 with no luck. The

I have written a simple countdown timer, which seems to be lacking in
Ubuntu distribution for reminder after a certain amount of time. I would
love to see it added to the Ubuntu repository and shared with the
community.

One way to get an error message out of update-manager about this is to
remove libgtk2-perl, if it is already installed, and run update-manager
via a terminal. When a package like software-properties-gtk is installed
you'll see the following message in the terminal:
debconf: unable to initialize
