I gather you have considered asking your ISP and/or BT to perform line
tests from outside?
Second: this is a old device with end of life in 2014. Have you
considered recycling it? I've seen my fair share of access devices fail
over the years due to capacitor & resistor tolerance

I wasnt aware it was sensitive to electrical noise etc. Other than
replacing the master socket, nothing else electrical related changed around
it when the dropouts started.
Im fairly sure that PPPoE drops are due to it losing sync - it happens
every time and I can observe that through

We are using CG-NAT extensively throughout our network and whilst a lot of
banking apps play nicely with this. I’ve have mixed anecdotal feedback as to
the efficacy of static IP addressing
