Hi,
I have a problem,
I am trying to Network my Mac IIci and Blue and white G3 PowerMac together
using T-Base10/100 (RJ-45).
I have installed an ethernet card in my IIci and connected the two via an
ethernet switch. (T-Base10/100)
I have made a PhoneNet LocalTalk network with My IIci and SE.
For a while last night it worked one way only, the IIci could see the G3
but
i lost it somehow and can't get it back.
Maybe the G3's ip address changed.
No, The IP's have remained the same, i cheked that. Even when the G3
couldn't see the IIci. I pressed the Server IP Address button in chooser
Hi,
The IIci is running MacOS 7.6.1 and the G3 is running OS 9.1 I was thinking
of upgrading to OS X Jaguar for filesharing with my PC! I guess that's the
way of it.
Yes, The G3's appletalk is set to Ethernet and is on, same with the IIci.
No, the settings have not reverted themselves to

The HDD is SCSI. That was the only upgrade i could preform. 250mb now.

Hi,
I am not an expert per-se but I have wanted to do this but couldn't.
To the best of my knowledge you can either get a localtalk card for the PC

Now, unless you are running Mac OS X (In which case you won't have localtalk

My beloved IIci died a long time ago, the chemicals in the capacitors
