I'm trying to use x2goclient on a Ubuntu 15.10 GNOME laptop
to connect to an system running Fedora 23 KDE.
When I connect, I see the K-gear logo as KDE starts, followed by
a popup saying that Firefox is already running, which I cancel.
Other than that, the screen is black. Left-click or
Ubuntu ships with kde5 which is incompatible due to plasmashell
requiring GLX 1.3 per the X2Go Wiki.
Mate works well on 15.10 with X2Go.

Uh,
Michael is running FC23, not Ubuntu, on his
Fedora 23 is confusing. There are both kded4 and kded5 executables
running, as well as kdeinit4 and kdeinit5. korganizer says it is
kde-4.14.14, konsole and dolphin don't mention the kde version.
I'll see if I can install Mate or something else and run that remotely.

Sorry, too early in the mornign for me to be answering e-mail I guess.
I haven't upgraded my Fedora box to 23 yet, but looking on the web it
looks like it has KDE 5.4.32 or some such so still same issues.

I just noticed that when I use tigervnc to connect I also get a black screen.
It had worked correctly a few days ago. Something broke.
