guess at what you're doing is opening and xterm/konsole etc, su'ing to
root and the trying to open an x app. Before you su, type xhost
localhost, and it should work. If this isn't what you want then post back

Mine went ok, however my 3d accel for some reason sometimes
freezes the computer. Has anyone else seen this with a Radeon 7000?
