I've solved this problem. In case anyone ever runs into anything similar
both qutebrowser and luakit require specific gstreamer plugins for each
html5 video type. The media-libs/gst-plugins-meta package was not
sufficient as it only contained a collection of audio plugins.

eral years in the past. you basically select
the css you want to use to overwrite site's css.
with qutebrowser, i added these in my config.py
file:
c.aliases['style-none'] = 'config-unset -t content.user_stylesheets'
c.aliases['style-night'] = '

Python 3.5 adds some very novel language features that new projects
have already started to depend on. In fact, some packages (such as
qutebrowser) are soon to require Python

security don't really seem to relate to it. The last big extension
update was like that. There was some easy way to get around the
sandbox that Mozilla made for Firefox.
This update will break my favorite extension, Vimperator. I am already
looking at replacements for Firefox du

I use Firefox.

I don't (and won't) use PulseAudio and haven't set up dmix or anything
like it. The weird thing is the simultaneous audio works with every
other program I use (Qutebrowser, mpd, Audacity etc.) -- it's only Pd
that gives the error.

I am afraid that VLC is

only update groups of packages that I want to.
I've been struggling with updates lately since I've emerged qutebrowser
and updates to qtwebengine is brutal to my X200. I haven't set-up distcc
yet and the hard drive

yours instead. Am I anywhere close to getting the broad outlines of the
process correct? If so, how does this intercept and substitute process
work? (I see you provide a link below, but it doesn’t work here...)

this way, i am no longer bound by bad colors
chosen by web designers.
- i use i3 as window manager, with lots of
