+1 SOA and REST are both architectural styles, but they operate at different levels of the architecture. SOA is an enterprise architectural style; REST is a software architectural style. I wrote about this in my blog back in June: http://apsblog.burtongroup.com/2007/06/soa_and_rest_op.html
