Hello,
in the next very few days a new hardware revision of SIGMA will be
available for sale. It will be sold as SIGMA2. Currently all 'old' SIGMA
analyzers are sold off and SIGMA is completely replaced with SIGMA2.

The new hardware revision requires a slightly different bitstream
(firmware) and therefore firmware files for SIGMA in sigrok should be
updated. The reason is different LED wiring. Firmware is same for SIGMA
and SIGMA2.

SIGMA2 has the same USB VID/PID, but uses serial number in format
A602????. Old SIGMA is A601????. Old software should recognize only
SIGMA with serial numbers in range A6010000 - A601FFFF. Software with
updated firmware should recognize range A6010000 - A602FFFF (I do not
know wheather sigrok is doing this revision check, but it should :)

To who should I send the new firmware?

Regards,
Ondrej
