I have added a patch to the tracker (3143529) which implements the
scheme mentioned
before(https://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=26806109)

it only needs to add a define flag for soci compilation.

It does not change the top level of the includes as this is not really
needed to simplify usage.
But one could think about moving all core headers except soci.h into a
sub folder and then applying the same method used in the backends for
soci.h.
But this would only be a cosmetic change, it does not really give much
gain.
