Lagoa and EM Polygonizer are great examples of getting the word out. Their demo videos went viral within our industry, but also wound up finding their way onto non-industry sites that like to post cool videos. Heck, even a political blog I read posted the Lagoa video from way back when, which was a nice surprise.
