I had the same issue. Do you have something interesting plugin or addon in use? I used some extrude addons, that made my life a nightmare. I renamed the user folder of Softimage, and started Softimage. It made a brand new environment (preferences, etc) and tried to load the scene. Also try disable all operator in Scene debugging, and see if it loads. And another idea, frequently save important stuff in emdl format, or fbx, or dotxsi...
