We don't support S11 at this time, so as noted because Solaris patches contain partial packages which only include the updated objects, and because patchadd doesn't work on S11, the patch application phases will unfortunately fail, but the installation phases should work.

Not quite...I've had SRSS 4.2 installed since I had originally installed on Solaris 10. I've since upgraded to OpenSolaris 2008, 2009, and now Solaris 11 Express with the same SRSS 4.2 install. (I just have had to follow your step-by-step Wiki guide each time I've upgraded).

I had SRSS 4.2 installed w/o SRWC. When running the install script, it picked up that I had SRSS 4.2 installed, but then crashed out when trying to patch. I then had to rummage around and find SRWC 2.3 and install that manually.

Any idea how long after Solaris 11 revenue release we'll see a SRSS Solaris 11 qualified release? SRSS seems to be the only Oracle software I use that has issues with anything past Solaris 10. I guess that's because SRSS seems to be one of the few Oracle packages I use where the updates are delivered via patches instead of new releases.

I've been able to keep up with SGD all along (with only having to make a minor script change to work around an Open Solaris bug, which has since been fixed) because they deliver each release as a fresh package.
