I am not willing to test all permutations, but ...

here you are: these options all work well on my hardware with either VESA
or Radeon framebuffer enabled, except for "s2ram -f -p -m", which did not
restore the text console properly. The upper half of the screen seemed to
be filled with random green pixels and some odd yellow blinking ones.
