And that's exactly what I've done, I'm using my Sony xPeria
x-Performance phone full time now and as list members will know alreayd
I've covered quite a bit of ground with this phone in the two or so
months I've been using it.
I'd like to mention something which I think will be of particular
interest particularly if you'r one of those people who like using a
physical keyboard - whether it be wired or Bluetooth - with your phone
and that's the physical keyboard configuration settings which can be
accessed either through the Notifications panel - probably the easiest
way - or by digging into the settings through the Settings App.
One of the options you'll notice is "Shortcuts" and from here you can -
as the name suggests - define keyboard shortcuts or see a table of those
which have already been predefined for your supposed benefit.
Well I can't deny that some of those I've tried are certainly beneficial
and handy.
For example pressing the "Option" key together with the "B" key on the
Logitech K480 keyboard I have opens the Chrome browser which is the only
browser I have installed on the phone.
Pressing option-e brings up a screen which asks me to define my default
eMail App though curiously - even though Aqua Mail is installed its not
listed here -.
Pressing option-p brings up a screen for me to define my default Music
Player so I defined the Music App thus future presses of Option-P will
launch that App.
And so the list goes on.
I'm sure other phones have similar Physical Keyboard configurator
utilities of one sort or another and perhaps the ability to add
Shortcuts though I don't remember seeing anything like this on the
Samsung phones I had.
