Hello, Thank you for the help. Your messages helped me to understand better how the thing is working, but the problem is still there.
I am now able to make FORM authentication (with both Tomcat 3.2 and 3.3) but the BASIC authentication is NOT working. I've tried the MemoryRealm only (thanks Craig, I've tried neither JDBCRealm nor JNDIRealm yet, maybe later, I want to make work the simple things first). Does anybody have an Idea?
