No. At least not on that mailing list.

Have you set it like in my screenshot?

There should be no differences between Unity and GNOME Flashback sessions
in Ubuntu 16.04: both are using unity-settings-daemon, unity-control-center
and indicator-keyboard.

If there are differences for you, you must be doing something wrong.

In particular, please make sure that gnome-settings-daemon is not running
and “gsettings get org.gnome.gnome-flashback input-sources” is false.

As I said: the GNOME Flashback packages do not pull in gnome-control-center
on 16.04. You should be able so safely remove it.
