Hi DRC, More problems....I can't seem to get vncserver started properly.
The font path isn't recognised. The message is "Fatal server error : could not open default font 'fixed'". I have made sure xfs is running too. Even so, a process does start according to 'vncserver -list', but doesn't appear in the system monitor, or in 'ps -e' I cannot connect with TurboVNC Viewer. When vncserver is killed, I get a message that there was no such process. Interestingly, I thought it was working earlier, but that was when I had 'vino' running. TurboVNC Viewer connected to it! After uninstalling 'vino' I have no server listening... Any ideas? Thx J ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Come build with us!
