Well, I'm sure we'd all chip in to send the poor guy some prozac or something.

In case anybody wonders why we are talking about this here, it's
because Perl is switching from Perforce for version control to git.

Apparently a global flushing routine:

Perl's my_fflush_all in util.c might be similar.

I believe it's pretty important (but might be wrong).  But if
configuration is tripping over curl at the command line that doesn't
necessarily mean there's a problem for git with libcurl linked in.
