I'm more interested in whether any third parties have inspected this device
and provided reports.

As to your "yellow box", it appears to be a 2x4 that is part of a
structural modification, including metal L joints, on the underside of the
table top, to which the generator is bolted to prevent vibration.

The 2x4 may be hollowed out as a cover for several lithium hydride
batteries.

At 38 through 45 seconds in, you get a pretty good look at the power
switches and the wiring going into them. There might be a rectangular
hollowed out space just beneath the driving motor, although I can't be
sure. Then at 49 seconds in you get a good look between the motor and
generator where there is some sort of black component reaching up from the
table top to the top right of the motor. It is plausible that there is
some sort of rigging delivering power to the driving motor from batteries
hidden in the false-front 2x4. However, there is nothing in the video that
indicts the demonstration per se, other than the extraordinary claim.
