I was under the impression we were following Compiz. Is it a key feature of
Compviz, or just a small plugin that someone wrote that a few people use?

Can we please take this early opportunity to rename it to align with Compiz,
especially if it clashes with a name of another existing program that does
something different. Otherwise we may get into the situation where people
think that WMaker has a built-in Maximus feature, as in
all-windows-are-always-maximised.

Cute, I can understand the emotional basis, but I imagine other window
managers may also get a Maximumize feature, and they would call it
Maximumize, not Maximus.

Maybe a future feature could be a built-in Maximus feature, that does the
job of the Maximus daemon? I tried to find the website home for the
program, but was not successful.

I thought I'd look it up...

It seems to indicate that Maximumize will only work if the window is not
overlapping any other window OR screen edge.

i dunno exactly what is going on in these videos (no audio), but the
Minimumize feature seems to work nicely in tandem with Maximumize...
