Agreed, I got a xone:32 for around 400 and it seems really nice and solid too - having a filter on the mixer is quite a cool and worthwile addition (specially when it has an LFO to modulate it :)

There's nothing worse than :playing at a club and facing a mixer you know absolutely nothing about. : :Apart from being built like a proverbial bricksh*t house, the Xone 62 :sounds :lovely, has 3 filters for each channel and also has the benefit of having a :P & G crossfader. It's good enough to use for production as well. I'd :heartily recommend splashing out the cash on one if you can afford it. : :I will add also that their customer service is 2nd to none. Being UK based :does help for us Brits, but I had an unidentified problem with it and it :was :returned ready to use within 5 days. (I also got a £10000 mixing desk :mistakenly a day later but that's another story) ;) : :www.allen-heath.co.uk : : : : : : : :----- Original Message ----- :From: Langsman, Marc <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> :To: 'Brendan Nelson' <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[email protected]> :Sent: Wednesday, December 04, 2002 10:59 AM :Subject: RE: (313) mixer advice : : :> :> erm becuase crappy mixers dont stand up to any sort of turntablism abuse :- :> from the online mixers of yours Ive heard you seem to stick to more of :the :> blendin thang than the scratching thang which is maybe why your gemini :has :> lasted well.
