I am happy with my DJM-600 from pioneer. But they could have made the faders
a bit more robuust, I cut and fade A LOT and sometimes the plastic comes off
;)

But I have another question about mixing:

The only mixer I EVER used is the djm-600 (I never played out of my room),
so I don´t know how this is with other mixers but listen:

On my mixer you have a "studio monitor" function, wich lets you hear the
main audio channel in your headphones (the main audio channel is everything
people on the dancefloor hear.. ), I wanted to know if this is an option
that is also available on most mixers? Because when I beat match , I always
listen in my headphones to the main-channel combined with the channel I want
to mix. I can switch between those volumes, wich makes it easy to hear if
the records are still synchronized in all stages of the mix. (because the
track I want to mix is first with little bass and hihat, and later in the
mix with a lot of bass and treble - so when I don´t hear the track I am
mixing in very well, I can turn the knob a bit more to the other side, so I
hear that channel better).

I know this sounds VERY COMPLICATED..
So if you don´t understand what I mean, just tell me if your mixer has the
"studio monitor" option for your headphones, and tell my what do you listen
to in your headphones when you are mixing?

I just want to be prepared for the time I will have to mix elsewhere... not
on the mixer I am used to.

Thank you,
Maarten
