Hmm. I can't believe that - big labels are usually pretty weary of things like that - even if the track is perceived as underground, or the sample is well disguised. It's far cheaper to pay for the sample than to face the consequences after. anyway, I was wondering - why all the fuss even if Rolando used a sample? some of UR's finest moments have pretty big chunks of samples in. does it matter? oh, and one more thing! Mike Pickering - yep, OK, he did M-People, but I think he's made his contribution - 52nd Street anyone?
