eww you got intimated with edit culture? gross man!

>3] weak tracks that could use an axe. (chop, chop, chop...loop)

these two are my favorite. i want hot edit's of gary low - you are a danger
(keep the female chorus!), and change - angel in my pocket. i think i mean
angel in my pocket...what's the one that has that sick kinda sinister italo-y
lead near the beginning, before breaking into discocheeze? i'm away from home.

>4] dope tracks that can be taken to the cosmic level with an axe. (see number
>three)

this is the rarest, the biggest challenge tho right? it seems everybody is
trying this right now, and usually falling flat.

>Is it now acceptable to chop an otherwise kicking track for the sake of having

it depends on how much you chop it! and soup-up the beats? sometimes even if
its not as good as the original, it's kinda nice just having a different
arrangement, or some thumpier beats...even tho in the end, it's all about the
original. a friend of mine has some bumblebee unltd clubby-house re-edit coming
on bumpin city or some typical label like that, like the original track doesnt
need any re-editing, but it's kinda nice just to have this other arrangment,
with house beats, to play with.

i think the definition of edit/re-edit (uh what?) is changing a bit, i mean
there's so much stuff that you might otherwise call a remix, or a sample-house
track, except it relies so much on samples from a particular song, you really
just have to call it an edit. or a rip-off, my other favorite word for "edit",
i use it with a sense of humor tho.

hey speaking of, what's that stereo people record that is essentially a
rip/edit of massara - margherita? is it that first tweekin ? Stereo (Stereo
People Theme)? i want that so bad, have for ages.
