> eww you got intimated with edit culture? gross man! It used to be, all the tape cutting and splicing and dubbing back cause you cut it too short and gotta get another piece and then...well yeah it used to be all gross but now it's all virtual and clean:)

Hit me if you got 'em, I'm serious. > this is the rarest, the biggest challenge tho right? it seems > everybody is trying this right now, and usually falling flat. Sometimes it's the biggest challenge, but really it's only if you're trying to do the same direction as the original and do it better. That can be quite intimidating and sometimes impossible. Mostly though, with these like say if it's all perfect and clean as the orig, I like to go the other direction and do a hacked up really choppy, loopy, dirty dragging off beat beatdown track or something. That's when you can get pretty crazy and have the edit come out sounding nothing like the original. But yeah, most people don't get freaky enough with these to make it worth the hack. > to call it an edit. or a rip-off, my other favorite word for > "edit", i use it with a sense of humor tho. Hahaha! Word. So does akufen do "radio edits" then? And yeh, I'm a Ripoff artist. Not to be confused with those dirty bootleggers, cause see, we're still artists. :) hahahaha. Kamal K.
