Thanks for the explanation but the .plist stuff is over my head. I only mentioned it because I don’t understand it and so can’t judge whether it might have some significance that someone else might spot.
Assuming that everything is normal with the com.4D.4DServer.plist file (and I guess it should beOK, given that this is a standard 4D installation on a clean new computer) - I am still left looking for a cause and fix for the problem that Internet Commands is not working. Your suggestions on this would be greatly appreciated. By the way, the relevant code runs in a server stored procedure.
