Hi :) I've tested KompoZer with my 64 Studio 2.1 default install, but running a self compiled kernel-rt. There are some bugs, but they aren't serious. It takes as less time as I need to write an email, to get a simple HTML formated cover page for a website. I couldn't find where to edit keywords meta data, but without knowledge about HTML code, I was able to find it in some seconds, in the source code of the 64 Studio homepage, so I only had to copy this.
This is the first test of Steff, using some strange software: http://fellgesicht.com/ And this is my test, a dummy homepage done with KompoZer: http://www.alice-dsl.net/ralf.mardorf/ Increasing the text size causes no overlapping for my dummy homepage, like it is for Steff's homepage, I guess KompoZer is a good recommendation, for editing a homepage on the quick. I'm thinking of making a homepage myself. OOo might be good too, or better, but I guess for Steff KompoZer can be a help to edit some homepages he needs at the moment, without wasting much time in doing this. If he has more time and done some work with KompoZer, he might need more professional software, to do more professional webpages. For myself I guess playing with KompoZer's WYSIWYG tab and source tab, can teach me some HTML basics. Applications like KompoZer may help to get people away from odd low-coast software or evil (often buggy) cracks. Because KompoZer is available for MacOS and Windows, people might get interested in taking a look at Linux. Thanx a lot, KompoZer is what I was searching for. Cheers, Ralf
