Is it :o? I was thinking of buying a cheap NVidia. I read about some troubles with NVidia in the forums, but the people from the mailing list seems to be fine with NVidia. The driver for my on-board ATI X1250-based has broken a 64 Studio 2.1. For new installs of 64 Studio 2.1 and my Suse 11.0 I didn't try anything else but the VESA driver. maybe I should try other drivers too. > Blender also works well under windows, which is where I happen to have it > installed currently. > I haven't noticed that it's for Windows too. That's good. I guess it's possible to share files between the Linux and Windows version. So if I start working with Linux and it won't work, I can go on with the Windows version. > Are you looking for 2D vector based animation? > Yes, but I'm not fine with Synfig, resp. I have to take a look at descriptions for updates, maybe some bugs are eliminated. I also never take a look at other 2D Linux animation applications and there are a lot that looks like Synfig or Anime Studio. Cheers, Ralf
