I don't care about the tone of voice, but I still think the issue, if
there is a user and superuser by default and no "unfamiliar" solution by
"unfamiliar" usage of sudo, is something that is from interest for 64
Studio.

If we take a look at http://distrowatch.com/ we can see, that even if
Ubuntu is no. 1 by hits per day, the hits per day added by the often
used distros, that are behind Ubuntu, are much more hits. As far as I
know (I don't know all distros myself, but some), there are more Linux
users familiar with the way it was for 64 Studio 2.1, what I call
"normal" user and superuser accounts.

I don't know if there are other "unfamiliar" changes for Ubuntu, but I
would prefer Debian. For 3.0 I can accept the reason why it's based on
Ubuntu. I guess it's because Lenny wasn't finalized and also Lenny is
outdated in relation to other distros (that kind of being outdated has
some advantages, hip distros like Suse often break, because of hip but
broken packages).

I guess Ubuntu is the distro with the most radical promotion and also a
lot of money. The hits per day only say that a lot of Windows users take
a look at the most radical promoted Linux and after that they go on with
using Windows ;), but on the other hand there are well cared webpages
that are a help for users, this is the good side of money. I don't know
any other distro with such good howtos, but I don't think that most
Linux users have an Ubuntu install. It's my settled conviction, that
more users are fine with other distros, but I might mistaken.

If Gustin likes Ubuntu or Ross and I don't like Ubuntu, this shouldn't
be the decisive factor. I guess the beta tests will show if 64 Studio
based on Ubuntu is fine for most users or not.
