It is just another method of installing Linux.   That is all it is.

Any Ubuntu/Debian/Red Hat/Fedora/<insert distro of choice> can be made
to fit a users needs.  WUBI brings nothing new to the table here.

The goal of Open Source is not to "kill" Windows or OSX.  The goal is to
make the best software possible.  The developers I have met seem to take
this approach at any rate.

Worrying about market share is not all that useful if you are measuring
success with quality.

Again, all I asked is that the OP step back and identify the problem he
is trying to fix.  Using vague terms like "simpler" and "easier" is not
as helpful as it seems.
