For example, please run
$ sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree

The Flash plugin is NOT installed.
And then try to load http://fpdownload.macromedia.com by a using a web
browser.
Maybe it's a help if broken packages from the Ubuntu repositories are
reported to 64 Studio, because it's based on Ubuntu.
Testing a beta only is useful if such issues are reported.
Cheers,
Ralf
