Hi all, Yeah, I don't really know, when esound got beeing installed to my system ... now, as i removed it, everything works fine ... just one small problem left:
with the modprobe changes, my soundcard gets index 0. But thats not working all the time. I think this is a kind of a raise-condition. Sometime there's a problem while booting, but after a restart, everything's fine: with the problem, dmesg says: Log says in dmesg: [ 7.997064] usbcore: registered new interface driver snd-usb-audio [ 8.192512] cannot find the slot for index 0 (range 0-1), error: -16 [ 8.192626] ICE1712: probe of 0000:03:02.0 failed with error -12 without problem: [ 8.912087] ICE1712 0000:03:02.0: PCI INT A -> GSI 20 (level, low) -> IRQ 20 [ 8.991331] usbcore: registered new interface driver snd-usb-audio Looks like someonbe is grabbing the card index 0. Maybe The USB soundcard? I don't know how to find out... Regards, mathias Ralf Mardorf wrote: > Mathias Krause wrote: >> Hey folks !!! >> >> I've good news.
