This would be a good choice because of the interrupt access to the RAM, 
but if somebody has a lot of RAM and is using an on-board, just reducing 
the frame buffer might not be a help. I don't know. I should get a PCIex 
myself, but first I'll test ATI free and proprietary drivers for the 
on-board instead of the used VESA driver.

I got sidetracked today, maybe I'll test it tonight, thanks to your 
private repository, I don't need to compile a kernel myself :).
