Hi all,

as I am a new user, i think i should just make a statement (I'll keep it
very short):

I think a NEW user is not really searching in the mailing list. In my
case, what I did, when searching for a linux distro was:
- Check the homepages ...
- Look at some screenshots..
- Read in some forums...

The first time, I get touched with the mailing list was, when i had a
special problem with my audio hardware. So I went through the mail
archives and found a solve. Some days later, I had a problem with grafix
and did not find a solution in the mailing list archive. So i posted my
issue here, and it has been solved within a few minutes.

That's what (I thought) this list is for, and it was more like being
astonished, how well the support in this list was working, then being
put off by some entries...

And that's all ...

Regards
Mathias
