Dear all,

Thanks to the authors of the draft, and to everyone who has contributed
with feedback.

As the shepherd of draft-ietf-6lo-updating-rfc-8928, please find below my
comments on revision -01:

- Abstract: s/by updating the bit position for the C-flag and registering
it with IANA/by updating the bit
position for the C-flag in the Extended Address Registration Option
(EARO) and registering it with IANA

- Section 1, first paragraph: please provide some very brief explanation of
what is the C-flag or a forward reference to its description in Section 3.

- Section 2.3: s/Low-Rate Personal Area Network/Low-Rate Wireless
Personal Area Network

- Section 3: "Moreover, figure 1 of this I-D replaces Figure 1 in
[RFC8928]". I understand that this sentence applies only when the EARO is
carried in an NS message (as it includes the F and Prefix Length fields
instead of the Status field). Note that Figure 1 in RFC 8928 is intended
for both NS and NA messages. Perhaps the mentioned sentence may be updated.
Alternatively, a second figure could be added, showing the format for EARO
in NA messages with the correct C-flag position.

- Figure 1: there are two different bits called 'R'. Please consider
renaming the reserved bit with a letter other than 'R'.

- Section 3: s/T: 1-bit flg/T: 1-bit flag

- Section 3, 'TID and Registration Lifetime': s/It's incremented/It is
incremented

- Section 5.1: s/refernce/reference

- Section 5.1, Table 1: s/RFC 8928/RFC This and RFC 8928

Cheers,

Carles
