Please let me know your results with the exim plugin; I'm willing to 
give it a try if it works out well for you, and if I can check it at 
data time in the smtp protocol.

Do you run exim as your primary mx?  I've built a fairly decent system 
for using exim to block spam; I'd be happy to share.
