As i wrote previously, they're safe... And domain names don't cost me much yearly; we're in the business <smile>. > I am not suprised about there restrictions, those are (IMO) pretty > regular for cheap hosting. The main thing i think they are trying to > avoid is spammers. I'm not surprised about them either. I just know they'll limit us even if we use it for the client we want to use it for. Here's what I want to use it for... music downloads. We'd follow their rules and link to the music from the site they host for us, but most of the downloads would be driven by other sites. They don't disallow it specifically, but they'd figure out a way to disallow it of course. > I curious to how they take payment.....what are the > choices? There's one choice, and I thought I'd already mentioned it: 2 Checkout (2CO). http://www.2checkout.com/ Since you give your info only to 2CO, you're safe. They don't get it and they can't originate a payment. And 2CO always holds a percentage so you can get your money back. Since 2CO is listed as their reseller and operates as their reseller if you have any problems 2CO will bend over backwards to refund your money... or else they'd have to defend LimitFreeHosting's policies to Visa/MC in a chargeback request. How do I know? One of our hosting companies uses 2CO. Only the largest hosting companies in the U.K. accept credit cards on their own. Most use either 2CO (http://www.2checkout.com/) or WorldPay, a division of the Royal Bank of Scotland (http://www.worldpay.com/). Neither pass on credit card information to the company. So's at least one of ours: http://www.avidnetwork.com/ Being a webhosting company and being a web-designer are two different things; not at all the same skill-set <smile>. We have a fairly nice site, too (at least I think so): http://www.webappguru.net/ but it was designed by the guy we bought the company from, and we can only use it for another year.
