Hi!
Thanks for the response! This problem has been driving me crazy and I can't figure out how I fixed it last time! I use Photoshop to work with the graphics and I can't open it all of the time to preview the images like I need to. It's such a large program and takes up way to much ram on the system so it makes it hard to use it to just preview the images. With the Folder Options, that's what I've been trying to do but it doesn't give me the option to change the icon with the image files. I have them set to open with the Image preview (since it's a small program and takes very little memory to open up really quick). The button below that, which should say "Advanced..." like the other file types do, just says Restore. If I click that, it sets the icon back to the image, however it sets it to open with MS Photo Editor again. I have a screenshot to try and show you what I mean: http://atryeu.net/temp/folderoption-screen.gif It's displayed like that with each of the image file types. The Add/REmove programs was the first place I looked. It only listes "Microsoft Office 200" overall though rather than listing the single programs it contains. If I go through Cleanup, it brings up the Add/Remove programs menu again. I have tried removing Photo Editor through the Office setup but it does not want to remove. There is a problem with Office not loading on my brother's desktop for some reason so I need to try and repair that as well. I may have to just reinstall the entire thing. If it comes to that, I will see if I can remove Photo Editor that way as well. Thanks for the response. I can't wait until I can afford to get rid of this computer and buy a whole new system. This thing has been nothing but problems since we bought it :( - Atryeu --- In [email protected], "Rupert Bear" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hi Atryeu > > You seem to have already followed the correct method for changing file associations via > Explorer>Tools>Folder Options>File Types.
